Corporate transport in Riyadh: hiring a monthly chauffeur

A corporate chauffeur in Riyadh costs from SAR 80 per hour in an economy sedan, SAR 95 in a standard sedan and SAR 400 in a luxury car, with a 3-hour minimum. For a monthly arrangement we quote one fixed rate for your hours, days and vehicle, and invoice your company once a month.

What is a monthly corporate chauffeur?

A corporate chauffeur in Riyadh is a car and driver that your company books for regular use: an executive's daily schedule, a team on a project, or visitors staying a few weeks. Instead of booking ride by ride, you agree the hours, days and vehicle once, and the same arrangement runs every week.

A monthly arrangement with us includes:

  • A driver licensed by the Transport General Authority, and a vehicle in the class you choose.
  • Fuel for driving within Riyadh.
  • Waiting at every stop, so the car is there when the meeting ends.
  • Airport runs with flight tracking.
  • One monthly invoice with VAT, and trip reports per cost centre.
  • A dedicated dispatcher for changes and extra bookings.

How much does a chauffeur cost per hour in Riyadh?

Our hourly rates by vehicle class are below. Every hourly booking has a 3-hour minimum, and a full day is booked as a 10-hour day. For a month or more, we turn your pattern of hours into one fixed monthly figure and give it to you in writing before you commit.

Monthly chauffeur, hourly bookings or rides on account?

Most companies use a mix. Pick the option that matches how often the car is needed.

If the car would sit idle most days, hourly bookings usually cost less than a monthly arrangement. Our hourly chauffeur vs point-to-point comparison explains the trade-off.

Why not employ a driver directly?

Hiring a driver directly makes your company the employer, with the visa, contract, insurance and leave cover that come with it. You also need a vehicle, its maintenance and a plan for the days when the driver is sick or travelling.

With a contracted chauffeur, those tasks sit with us. The vehicle is ours, the driver is licensed, and if your regular driver is unavailable, the dispatcher can assign another licensed driver. You pay for the hours you agreed, on one invoice.

Ride-hailing apps suit a single short ride. For a daily schedule, prices that change with demand and a different driver each time make them harder to plan and to account for. Self-drive rentals leave the driving, parking and fuel to your own staff.

Getting around Riyadh's business districts

King Khalid International Airport (RUH) is about 35 km north of Olaya, roughly 40 min by car, and peak traffic on King Fahd Road can add 20 minutes. Terminals 1 and 2 handle international flights, and Terminals 3, 4 and 5 handle domestic flights, so tell us the airline and we meet you at the right one. A transfer to central Riyadh costs from SAR 60 in an economy sedan or SAR 350 in a luxury car. Our Riyadh Airport terminals guide has more detail.

Many banks and financial firms are based in King Abdullah Financial District, and most embassies are in the Diplomatic Quarter. A chauffeur who waits at each stop saves the search for parking between meetings. From October to March, Riyadh Season adds heavy evening traffic around Boulevard City, so allow extra time for evening events.

Choosing the car and driver

Most drivers speak English or Urdu as well as Arabic. Tell us the language your executive or guests prefer and we match the driver.

  • Standard sedan: the usual choice for daily office runs and airport transfers.
  • Luxury / VIP: a suited chauffeur, the latest model year, Wi-Fi and refreshments, for board members and important guests.
  • SUV: captain seats and a smooth ride, and better on rough access roads for site visits.
  • Family van or group bus: teams moving between hotels, offices and venues.
  • Female driver: licensed female drivers are available in Riyadh for women who prefer one; book 12 hours ahead.

  • Priority vehicles in peak season.
  • Free cancellation up to 24 hours before a booked pickup.
  • A 20% night surcharge on rides between 00:00 and 05:00, always shown in the quote.

Questions readers ask

Is fuel included for trips outside Riyadh?

Fuel within Riyadh is included. Trips out of the city are quoted as a fixed fare: Riyadh to Dammam, for example, is 400 km and costs from SAR 800 in a standard sedan.

Can the chauffeur work evenings and weekends?

Yes. Put the regular pattern in the agreement and book extra hours through the dispatcher when you need them. Extra hours appear on the same monthly invoice.

Can we change the vehicle for some days?

Yes, when a vehicle is available. Tell the dispatcher which days need a different car, such as an SUV for a site visit or a van for a team, and the change is shown on the invoice.

Do you also meet company visitors at the airport?

Yes. Visitors are met in the arrivals hall at their terminal, the flight is tracked and the driver waits free for 60 minutes after landing. The trip goes on the same monthly invoice.

How do we pay before the account is set up?

Pay per ride in cash (SAR) or by card in the car, or by bank transfer or the STC Bank app before the ride. Once the monthly arrangement starts, we move you to monthly invoicing.
